How we are changing children’s lives

Shekina Glory Shelter Home

Shekina Glory Shelter Home is a safe and loving home for children who have lost their parents or who have been abandoned. We provide these children with the care and support they need to grow up healthy, happy, and loved.

Our shelter home is located in a beautiful setting, with plenty of space for children to play and explore. We have a dedicated team of staff who are committed to providing the best possible care for our children. We offer a variety of programs and activities, including education, healthcare, and recreational activities. We also work to help children connect with their families and communities, so that they can one day live independent and fulfilling lives.

Shekina Glory Shelter Home is a place where children can feel safe, loved, and cared for. We are committed to providing these children with the best possible start in life, so that they can reach their full potential.

Shekina Glory

The shelter home is named after Shekina Glory, which means “the glory of God” in Hebrew. We believe that God has a special place in his heart for children, and we are committed to providing them with the care and love that they deserve.

Testimonials

Hear amazing testimonies what people think about us

Following a motorbike accident I had in 2015 and my mum and I were directed to come to Hadassah, The accident left me with a terrible hypertrophic scar which continually made me uncomfortable because it was always so itchy, I couldn't stand on my feet for long as the itches increased. Coming to Hadassah, Reconstructive surgery was done on my leg by use of a skin expander, and that is how I left the hospital in 2017 with all smiles.

While in school we were asked to choose which hospital we will like to do internship in. we wanted to try something new and so out curiosity we decided to go to Hadassah Medical Centre. We also appreciated the sacrifices some of the staff made out of their personal time to have personal study/question answering sessions with us, truly that was a unique experience we haven’t had anywhere else, but had at HMC.We learned many things, we also learned the qualities of humility and kindness from him (The CEO) which were one of his most dominant qualities.
