WECCARE Foundation is dedicated to improving the well-being of all individuals, and that includes those within the prison system. Our Medical Assistance to Prison Communities (MAPC) Project tackles a critical need: ensuring access to essential medical care for inmates. Many inmates have pre-existing health conditions that often remain untreated due to limitations within correctional facilities.

Why do we do this?
Many inmates have pre-existing health conditions that often remain untreated due to limitations within correctional facilities. This can lead to a worsening of their health during incarceration, impacting their well-being and hindering their ability to successfully reintegrate into society upon release.
The MAPC Project bridges this gap through a powerful partnership with Hadassah Medical Center, a leading healthcare institution and a trusted arm of the WECCARE Foundation.
